Coach Lawrence will be in his first year on the CHS Staff.  He lives in Peoria, Arizona with his beautiful and talented wife Roxanne.

Coach Lawrence played high school football at Corona Del Sol in Tempe, Arizona, graduating in 1983. He played junior college football at Southwestern C.C. as a free safety in 1987 and strong outside linebacker in 1988. In 1989, competing as an outside linebacker/strong safety hybrid at Sacramento State University, he suffered a serious leg injury that kept him off the field as a player. He resumed his career thirteen years later playing semi-pro football for the Twin Cities Cougars from 2003 to 2005 as a linebacker and defensive end.

Lawrence graduated from CSU Sacramento in 1994 with a BS in Business/Finance. He graduated from the University of Phoenix with a MBA in 2006 and is currently in his second year for a doctorate in management of organizational leadership program at University of Phoenix. His goal is to work in sports management in some capacity. Coach Lawrence would love to work for the Arizona Cardinals or the San Diego Chargers in their front office, but for now he'll impart his knowledge at Combs High School.

Lawrence is a proud United States Air Force Airman leaving the service honorably in 2000. Hobbies are collecting watches, coins and riding my Suzuki Boulevard C 90 when I have an opportunity.  He plans on purchasing a Suzuki Hayabusa shortly. He has a hankering for things fast including his wife's 2006 Dodge Charger with its 5.7 liter Hemi V8.
