Meet Mrs. Dales

This is my eleventh year teaching and my tenth year in the JO Combs Unified School District. I have taught grades 6-10 as well as adults. I have been here to see the district move from a one-school K-8 elementary school district with approximately 400 students to a seven-school k-12 unified school district with over 4000 students enrolled. It has been an amazing journey to say the least!

I earned my M.Ed. in Educational Administration and Supervision from Arizona State University. I also earned my B.A. in History with a minor in Sociology from Arizona State. I am proud to say I am truly a life-long learning, as I am back in school yet again; this time for my Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership from Grand Canyon University. I am highly qualified to teach English, Social Studies, Gifted, and English as a second language.

I have lived in Arizona for nearly 30 years.  Many years ago I graduated high school from a small school in Northern Arizona--Seligman High School. I have lived here in the east valley since the fall of 1988. I have been married to my wonderful husband for thirteen years, and we have two beautiful children. My boys--Noah, age 6, and Brenden, age 3 (soon to be 4)--are the joys of my life!

I love this district, and I truly look forward to working with you all this year!
