Bienvenidos a clase de espanol II. This Spanish II course is a continuation of concepts acquired in Spanish I. There will continue to be a strong focus on oral, written, listening, and reading throughout each unit. Additional emphasis will be placed on cultural aspects of the Spanish language. All students will be engaged in creating projects, dialogues, skits, in addition to daily homework assignments. The course is for 1 high school credit.

4/12/10: Study for grammar quiz. finish conjugation packet started in class. Grammar packet B,C p. 175-176 & 178-179.

4/14/10: Grammar Quiz- See me to make-up. Computer lab:Work on group presentation-Mexican Civilizations presentation.Criteria and rubric:Clase de espanol II ancient civilization presentationH.W- Finish putting together your portion of the group work. One paged Rough Draft of your findings is due.

4/15/10: Continue to research and create power pt in class (computer lab time). H.W. Finish power pt. and rehearse/practice to be ready to Present oral presentation of Ancient Mexican Civilization to class on Monday 4/19/20.

3/22/10: Turn in ex#20 legend. Read legend in class and create story board. Project: writing your own legend and creating story map Espanol 2 writing legend project regular spanish 2 criteria.H.W. fill out graphic organizer about legend you will write.

3/24/10: work on rough draft of legend. You have all class period to write.

H.W. 3/29 rough draft of your own legend due.You should begin working on creating your Story map on poster board.

H.w. Finish typing final draft of legend, finish story map. Project due 4/1/10 no exceptions!! need to bring final draft of legend, story map poster board illustration, rubric, be prepared to present orally.
