Art strengthens the academic growth and personal development of students. Art motivates and inspires children to use their personal expression by creating their own unique communication. Using art as a tool to help mold a constructive force of articulation gives students a distinctive voice in the world and empowers them with self esteem. This gives them a sense of belonging and a direct connection to society as a whole. As students venture out into the world, they decipher the sights and sounds of their environment. It is through art that the process of communicating these experiences makes the ‘outside’ more tangible and accessible.  

Playing a part in strengthening the role of art in the educational system, augmenting constructive personal development of students through the creative processes, is of great importance. To become a vessel of positive cultural awareness, to help compel a sense of self, and set up a foundation to foster growth are aspirations of the art curriculum. We invite the responsibility and honor of inspiring youth to create their unique vision of the world.
