About Mr. Wolff

Black and White photo of Joshua Wolff

Raised under the wings of artists, Joshua Wolff's early connections to the visual art form dawned from his family's association with ceramics and painting. Having grown up in the diverse seasonal changes of the North and Southwest regions of the United States, his interests in geology and topography are a direct result of his equally impassioned interests in the exploration of the land. Wolff's influences are wide and varied, spanning from Caravaggio's luminary originality to post modernism potentialities.

In 2005, Wolff received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in painting and in 2007 a Master of Education degree from Northern Arizona University. He has been a professional artist for almost a decade, exhibiting work in various local venues as well as a frequently updated online portfolio. Specializing in painting, drawing, and photography, his use of various mediums has expanded to many other areas of artistry, demonstrating an incorporated, innovative personal style. From his early student days of experimentational layering of techniques, to the various textures of eclectic abstraction, which continue to blossom, to this day, into a single cohesive vision, Wolff continues to work with many mediums in exploration of the human landscape.
