I am originally from Gary, Indiana, but I have been here in Arizona for 16 years. So, I guess it could be said that I am now an Arizonian. I graduated high school from Mountain Pointe, which is in Ahwatukee, AZ. This is my 4th year teaching. I started as a paraprofessional in the J.O. Combs Unified School District. I was persuaded that my talents would not be best suited as a dentist, but as a teacher. So, I was persuaded to teach and I have enjoyed it ever since.

I firmly believe that all students can learn with support and with their dedication to their education. I also believe that it truly does take a village to raise a child and I hope that with school, home and the community coming together, my current and future students will see success upon their graduation from our lovely high school.
