I am an Arizona native. I was born in Phoenix and spent most of my school days in Mesa Public Schools. I attended Jordan Elementary, Rhodes and Hendrix Jr. High, and Dobson High School. I went to Chandler-Gilbert Community College for a couple years before transferring to Arizona State University. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Special Education and then continued working towards my Master's degree in English as a Second Language. While I lived in Hawaii I became a foster parent and fostered several teenagers over the years, each with different disabilities. I have been teaching special education for the past 15 years in Phoenix, Hawaii, and now back home here in Queen Creek. I enjoy traveling, singing, reading, and snorkeling.
