All grades are based on the number of points possible for any given assignment. A student’s total grade for any marking period is based on the total number of points a student received divided by the total number of points possible, which will result in a percentage grade. The following scale determines the letter grade associated with a student’s percentage grade.

A     =      90% - 100%

B     =      80% - 89%

C     =      70% - 79%

D     =      60% - 69%

F      =      59% or below

Since many of my students have IEP accommodations for things such as extra time for assignments I will allow ample time to complete something as long as they truly are putting forth the effort.  Absences extremely hamper your child’s academic progress so please try to keep them to a minimum.
