Art and Design

The Art and Design course is designed to give students a little taste of everything when it comes to art appreciation.  Students are introduced to a variety of mediums from pencil to pen and ink to water color and acrylics. Students are given the opportunity to explore a variety of drawing painting styles as well as working a variety of subject matters.  In addition to exposure to color theory, balance, volume and texture, students are guided through group critiques, introduced to art history and encouraged to explore alternative creative solutions.
