About Me:
This is my third year teaching full-time in the J.O. Combs School District and I am extremely excited about continuing to grow with my students in this district as a teacher/mentor/coach. Thanks to my time as a substitute teacher and my years of coaching experience at the high school level, I made the transition to teaching as a career and I couldn't more satisfied with that decision.
I graduated with a degree in Fine Arts with a concentration in Graphic Design from Ohio Northern University in 2003. I played football in college until a knee injury ended my playing career. I explored opportunities in radio and theatre and expanded my experiences in a variety of artistic mediums and ventures. I graduated from Rio Salado College with a teaching certificate in 2011.
I have always been an avid sports enthusiast in addition to my love of art. I have previously coached both football and track and field at the high school level and continue to coach at Combs High School. I serve as a football coach and girls basketball coach for the Coyotes. In addition to my coaching responsibilities, I enjoy playing and watching basketball, football, baseball and golf.
I enjoy attending the occasional concert, comedy shows and watch plenty of movies. I am a junkie of "The Office" and "Lost". I've been fortunate enough to travel a great deal and have been to 38 states, 9 countries and 3 continents in my lifetime. My dream vacation would be a trip to Italy. I love seeing and experiencing other cultures.
I have been happily married for seven years and have two beautiful daughters named Evelynne and Addison.
