About me

Hello, my name is Tana Whitlock and I teach World History here at Combs High School. I am also the student council sponsor for the High School and love molding students into proactive leaders.

I grew up in Ahwatukee in Phoenix, AZ. I graduated from Mountain Pointe High School and then Arizona State University with a degree in Secondary-Education; Political Science. I now live in Mesa with my adorable yorkie, Mia. I love to hike, go to the movies, hang out with friends and visit family in Indiana and Kentucky.

Teaching Philosophies:

The theme of the year is accountability. It is my goal to teach students the idea of responsibility and accountability for their actions and choices, so that they may clearly see the consequences, good or bad.
